9,400 Non-Compliant Real Estate Advertisements Detected in November

The Real Estate General Authority (REGA) conducted extensive regulatory inspections in November, reviewing over 13,200 properties and identifying nearly 9,400 non-compliant real estate advertisements displayed in public areas.

Additionally, REGA received 213 real estate-related complaints through various channels, all of which were thoroughly investigated and addressed. The authority also performed over 14,500 electronic surveys to monitor digital platforms and ensure compliance with real estate advertising and brokerage regulations.

In collaboration with the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, REGA carried out 12 joint inspection rounds in November, visiting 148 real estate establishments across Riyadh, the Eastern Province, and Makkah. These inspections aimed to ensure adherence to real estate regulations, particularly those related to real estate brokerage.

REGA urges all real estate brokers and service providers to comply with real estate regulations and stay informed about potential violations to avoid penalties, which may include warnings, license suspension or revocation, or financial fines. The authority also encourages citizens and residents to report any suspected real estate violations or fraud.
