Saudi Arabia's bid to host the 2034 FIFA World Cup received the highest technical rating ever from FIFA, scoring 419.8 out of 500. This achievement reflects the nation's commitment to hosting a world-class event, supported by strong leadership from King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. The announcement sets the stage for FIFA's decision on the host countries for the 2030 and 2034 tournaments, which will be finalized during the FIFA Congress in December 2024.

The official FIFA delegation visited Saudi Arabia in October to review the country's bid for the 2034 FIFA World Cup. They examined host cities, sports facilities, and the overall preparation plans for hosting the event, which will feature 48 teams for the first time in history.

Saudi Arabia's bid for the 2034 FIFA World Cup aims to provide a unique experience, emphasizing a combination of world-class infrastructure, cultural richness, and exceptional hospitality. The country has been actively preparing to host a monumental event, promising top-tier facilities and a memorable cultural celebration.

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia submitted its bid to host the FIFA World Cup 2034 in July under the slogan "Together We Grow." The bid outlines ambitious plans for hosting the tournament across 15 stadiums in five host cities: Riyadh, Jeddah, Khobar, Abha, and NEOM, supported by an additional 10 supporting venues across the country. Hosting the tournament is seen as a significant step in showcasing Saudi Arabia's ongoing development, including previous successful hosting of major international events such as the FIFA Club World Cup and Formula 1, aimed at building a strong sports legacy for future generations.
