News Details

The Royal Commission for Riyadh City announced last Thursday, September 11, the launch of the Real Estate Balance Platform via the website tawazoun.rcrc.gov.sa. The platform is dedicated to receiving applications from citizens wishing to obtain residential land within Riyadh. Applications will remain open until the end of Thursday, October 23, 2025.

This initiative follows the directives of Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz to take the necessary steps to achieve balance in Riyadh's real estate market. The Commission will provide between 10,000 to 40,000 residential land plots annually over the next five years, with prices not exceeding 1,500 Saudi Riyals per square meter.

The Commission clarified that applications are open to married citizens or those aged 25 and above, provided they do not own a previous property and have resided in Riyadh for at least three years. Additionally, the land cannot be sold, mortgaged, or disposed of within 10 years, except for mortgaging for construction financing purposes. The Commission emphasized that if construction does not commence within this period, the land will be reclaimed, and its value will be refunded to the owner.

The Commission stressed that early registration does not guarantee priority eligibility, and application acceptance is subject to specific criteria. It also noted that the Real Estate Balance Platform is the only official digital channel for applications and is not represented by any intermediaries. All updates and announcements related to the platform will be published through the Commission's official channels, with a dedicated contact center at (19998) to assist beneficiaries and address their inquiries.
